Septum piercing
A septum piercing sits in the thin sweet spot of tissue just below the cartilage wall, central and easily hidden while it heals. It heals in around 3-4 months and takes a clicker or fine hoop in 14k recycled gold.

What it is
The Septum placement
The septum is pierced through the sweet spot, the thin band of soft tissue in front of the cartilage wall dividing the nose. Placed correctly it never touches cartilage, which is why it heals faster than most people expect and can be flipped up out of sight.
Healing & aftercare
How it heals
Around 3-4 months. A clicker heals well and can be worn flipped up while it settles. Rinse with saline twice daily and resist turning it.
