What it is
The Conch placement
The conch is the broad, shell-shaped bowl in the centre of the ear. It holds two looks: an inner conch stud sitting flush in the bowl, or an outer conch with a large hoop that encircles the ear. As deep cartilage it is one of the slower placements to heal, and one of the most striking once it has.
Healing & aftercare
How it heals
Give it time, around 6-12 months. A flat-back labret heals best; save the large hoop for once it has settled. Saline twice daily, no pressure, no sleeping on it.
