Service
Placed by hand with sterile single-use equipment, in 14k recycled solid gold. One flat price for every placement, wherever on the ear it sits.
A chain welded in place without a clasp, measured and fitted to your wrist, ankle or neck. Fitted in person in the studio, never shipped.
A ritual of care for the ENNUI pieces you already wear. We clean, polish, re-tighten and refresh them, one placement at a time, so the ear stays as considered as the day it was styled.
We start from the ear you already have, the placements in it and the way it is shaped, and find what belongs next. Nothing is pierced unless you decide it should be.

Good to know
Pregnant or breastfeeding+–
We do not pierce during pregnancy, and we will happily hold your place until after. If you are breastfeeding we can go ahead from three months after birth, once you have checked with your doctor.
Why we ask
A new piercing is an open wound the body spends months closing, and pregnancy and the first months after birth already ask a lot of it. If something did get infected, the treatments we would normally suggest are not always ones you can take.
Children and teenagers+–
From six with a parent present, and lobes only until sixteen. Bring ID.
Why we ask
The lobe is soft tissue and heals well at any age. Cartilage is still forming, and it heals slowly and unpredictably before the ear is fully grown, so the rest of the ear waits.
Blood thinners and other medication+–
Tell us in the health declaration. It rarely stops us, but it may change the placement or the day.
Why we ask
Some medication affects how much you bleed and how quickly you heal, and knowing in advance lets the piercer plan for it.
Unwell, or on antibiotics+–
Wait until you are well again. Move your time and there is no charge.
Why we ask
A body already fighting something has less left over for healing, and a fresh piercing is at its most vulnerable in the first weeks.
Travelling soon+–
Tell us where and when, and we will help you time it. A fresh piercing should stay out of pools, lakes, the sea and saunas for six to eight weeks.
Why we ask
Warm water, chlorine and sand are where fresh piercings get into trouble.
Irritated skin at the placement+–
Eczema, psoriasis or a healing scar where the piercing would sit. Come in anyway and we will look at it with you.
Why we ask
Skin that is already inflamed heals differently, and we may suggest a placement a few millimetres away.
Measured to you, then welded+–
We measure the chain precisely before welding, and it cannot be resized afterwards. All sales are final, as each piece is custom fitted to you.
If it breaks, or you want it off+–
Breaks within thirty days are re-welded at no charge, after that a small service fee applies. You can take it off at home with scissors, and we re-weld it when you book again.
Metal and scans+–
Made from non-magnetic 18k gold. It should not set off metal detectors or interfere with medical devices.

Bring the ENNUI jewelry you wear, so we can clean, check and restyle it together.
Good timing+–
Lovely before an event, and good if a piercing has been sulking.
Bring what you wear+–
Bring the pieces you already wear, so we build from the ear you have.
No pressure to pierce+–
Nothing is pierced unless you decide it should be.
Health declaration
We send it with your confirmation. Two minutes, and it means we can start on time.
Changes
Change or cancel up to twenty-four hours before, in the link in your confirmation.
