What it is
The Tragus placement
The tragus is the small piece of cartilage just in front of the ear canal. It is one of the most face-framing placements, a fine solitaire or a small hoop catching the light beside your jaw. Because it is dense cartilage, it heals slowly and prefers to be left alone.
Healing & aftercare
How it heals
Around 6-12 months. Clean gently with saline, avoid earbuds while it heals, and try not to sleep on that side. A flat-back stud is the easiest to live with.
