Materials
18k recycled gold, nickel-free.
Every ENNUI Linked chain is 18k recycled gold, solid and never plated, so it holds its colour against skin worn every day. Nickel-free throughout, and kind to sensitive skin. Recycled gold holds the same purity as newly mined, without new mining.
Pricing
One chain price, welding included.
The welding at your fitting is included in the chain price. The chain itself is priced by length and link, and measured with you in the studio.
Care and safety
You can take it off
Permanent, not irreversible. Clip the welded link with small scissors whenever you need to, and we re-weld it when you come back. Complimentary within thirty days of the fitting, 190 SEK per piece after that.
Safe at the airport
Gold does not set off a security scanner. Wear it through, nothing to declare and nothing to remove.
Before an MRI
Remove it before a scan, as with any metal. Clip the link, keep the chain, and book a re-weld for afterwards.
Private events
Bring everyone, we will bring the welder.
The studio to yourselves, outside opening hours, for a group of up to eight. Chains fitted one at a time, a glass of something cold in between. Bridal parties, birthdays, or a team that would rather mark something than print it.
FAQ
ENNUI Linked, common questions
How long does a session take?+−
Around 15–20 minutes for one piece. Walk-ins welcome when the studio is quiet, though we recommend booking.
Does the welding hurt?+−
Not at all. A small, contactless spark closes the chain a few centimetres from your skin. You feel nothing.
What metal is ENNUI Linked?+−
18k recycled gold, welded without a clasp. A demi-fine option in recycled 925 silver is also available.
Can I take it off?+−
It is made to stay on, through showers, swimming and sleep. When you want it off, simply snip it with small scissors, and we re-weld it when you book again. Re-welding is complimentary within thirty days of the fitting, and 190 SEK per piece after that.
What if it breaks?+−
Bring it back to the Stockholm studio. A break within thirty days of the fitting is re-welded at no charge, and after that re-welding is 190 SEK per piece.
Is it safe for airports and MRIs?+−
Yes for airport security. For an MRI, snip it beforehand and book a re-weld for afterwards.
