Conch+−
The inner bowl of the ear. Takes a hoop or a flat-back labret. Heals in six to twelve months.
Daith+−
The fold of cartilage above the canal. Suits a clicker or a fine hoop. Heals in six to twelve months.
Flat+−
The flat plane above the helix. A labret sits cleanly here. Heals in six to twelve months.
Helix and forward helix+−
The outer rim, and the ridge nearest the face. Both take small hoops or labrets.
Lobe and high lobe+−
The softest tissue, the fastest to heal, at three to six months. Where most curations begin.
Rook and tragus+−
The inner ridge, and the small shield in front of the canal. Curved barbells and labrets.
