ENNUI Atelier - General Terms & Conditions

Welcome to ENNUI Atelier. These terms and conditions (“Terms”) apply to your use of our website and services, as well as your purchase of products from ENNUI Atelier. By placing an order or using our website, you agree to these Terms.

1. Privacy Policy
ENNUI Atelier respects your privacy and will treat all personal information provided to or obtained by us with strict confidentiality. Personal information will not be shared with third parties unless legally required. You have the right to access, update, or request deletion of your personal information at any time. Please contact us at customerservice@ennuiatelier.com for such requests.

2. Orders and Payment
By placing an order with ENNUI Atelier, you confirm that all information provided is true and accurate and that you are authorized to use the credit card or payment method for the transaction.
All prices are displayed in SEK. If ordering from within the EU, VAT is included in the price. For orders outside the EU, VAT is not included; however, you may be liable for import duties and taxes in your country, which are not the responsibility of ENNUI Atelier. Please note, taxes and duties may not be refundable for non-EU customers returning items.

3. Checkout Process
At checkout, you can select your preferred payment method and country. Orders within Sweden and the EU are subject to VAT. Orders from outside the EU are exempt from VAT, though additional import duties or taxes may apply at the destination. ENNUI Atelier is not responsible for these charges, and they may not be refundable if items are returned.

4. Shipping and Delivery
ENNUI Atelier ships worldwide from Stockholm. Orders are typically processed within 24 hours on business days (excluding public holidays). Delivery details, costs, and estimated timeframes are as follows:

Sweden (PostNord MyPack Home Small): 2–3 business days. Shipping is 99 SEK, free for orders over 3000 SEK.

DHL International: 4–7 business days. Shipping rates start from 300 SEK.

You will receive a tracking number once your order has been dispatched, allowing you to monitor the shipment until it is delivered.

Transport Damages: If an item arrives damaged or is lost during transit, please report this to customerservice@ennuiatelier.com immediately. Note that items damaged due to wear and tear are not considered faulty.

5. Returns and Refunds
You have the right to exchange or return items purchased on ennuiatelier.com within 14 days of receiving your order. For offline events or pop-up purchases, the same return terms apply. To initiate a return, contact us at customerservice@ennuiatelier.com. All returns are at the customer’s expense and must be received by ENNUI Atelier within 14 days of delivery.

Return Conditions:
• Items must be unused and returned in their original box. Damaged, worn, or altered items will not be accepted.
• Sale items, samples, and discounted products are not eligible for refund or exchange.
• ENNUI Atelier is not responsible for items lost or damaged in return shipping; we recommend using a trackable postage service with proof of postage.
• The customer is responsible for all duties and taxes associated with returns.
• Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 14 business days of receipt, excluding the original shipping fee.
Returns from third-party retailers will not be accepted.

6. Exchange Policy
If you would like to exchange an item for a different size, color, or style, please return the original item as outlined above and place a new order for the replacement.

7. Liability and Force Majeure
ENNUI Atelier is not liable for delays or failure to perform obligations under these Terms due to events beyond our control, such as natural disasters, governmental actions, or other instances of force majeure.

8. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by Swedish law. Any disputes will be settled in accordance with Swedish law in Swedish courts.

9. Craftsmanship Warranty
At ENNUI Atelier, our jewellery is designed to be worn daily and enjoyed for years. Because many of our pieces are worn continuously, regular care is an important part of keeping them secure and in good condition.

All ENNUI Atelier jewellery is covered by a 2-year craftsmanship warranty from the date of purchase against manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship.

This includes:
• Structural faults in the metal
• Defects in casting or stone setting
• Faulty clasps or mechanisms under normal use

If a manufacturing defect is confirmed after inspection, we will:
• Repair the item free of charge, or
• Replace it if repair is not possible.

Important Care Information
Jewellery worn daily, particularly piercing jewellery and small hoops, may gradually loosen over time through normal movement.

For this reason we recommend that customers:
• Periodically check that threaded jewellery is securely tightened
• Ensure hoops remain properly closed
• Remove jewellery when exposed to impact or heavy pressure
• Regular checking of closures is considered part of normal jewellery care.

What is not covered
The warranty does not cover:

Normal wear and tear:
• Scratches, dents, patina changes or surface ageing
• Jewellery that has loosened or opened during wear
• Lost items or lost stones
• Damage caused by impact, accidents or improper use
• Alterations or repairs performed by third parties

Loss of jewellery due to a loosened thread or opening mechanism is considered normal wear and is therefore not covered under warranty.

10. Repairs & Service
We design our jewellery to be repairable whenever possible.

If an issue occurs after the warranty period, or if a piece requires tightening or adjustment, we are happy to assist with repairs or servicing at a reasonable cost.

Customers are also welcome to visit our studio for a complimentary jewellery check, where we can inspect closures and ensure pieces remain secure.

Consumer rights
This warranty is offered in addition to your statutory rights under Swedish and EU consumer law.

11. Faulty Products and Claims
All claims will be handled through the Customer Service form or contact us at hello@ennuiatelier.com
ENNUI Atelier does not replace lost jewelry, but our team will evaluate any claims of damage.
Items damaged due to regular wear and tear are not considered faulty.
